Reflection Of 24/7

posted 1 Nov 2012, 07:07 by Unknown user

Last Saturday we finished our 24/7 week of prayer. We were so happy to see many of you coming to Catacombs at any hour of the day and night. We hope you have been following our Facebook page (Oxford Prayer Room) and are up to date with what we got up to during 24/7. However, for those of you haven’t been checking our Facebook this is a little sum up...

Every day of the week we had worship sessions every other hour followed by prayer and intercession. Many of our pastorates and prayer meetings were held in Catacombs. These included student and international pastorate. We especially hope you didn't miss Monday evening of worship and intercession with our amazing band - the room was fully packed with undergraduate’s students who were on fire for God. We were repenting and crying out for the city of Oxford and our nation. We also had intercessions for different countries, missionaries around the world and persecuted Christians. The presence of God was very thick in the room. Someone we interviewed said that it was just such an intimate place to meet with God but also with community. Not only Monday was full of people; throughout the week, we had varieties of prayer meetings happening. The week literally flew by and it felt so sad to pack the room up!

Although 24/7 is over please keep on praying! Let’s be people who devote themselves day and night to God.
